The first of The Aurexia FinTech Awards took place on Wednesday 2nd November at WeWork Moorgate, London. A 1 day event with 13 FinTechs across 4 categories. The FinTechs pitched for 15 minutes to demonstrate their solution to a judging panel of decision makers from banks to investors. This event was drawn to a close with a panel discussion on the greater detail of how the relationship between banks and FinTechs is set to evolve. Similar events to the London FinTech Awards will be held in Paris, Luxembourg and Singapore. These awards will also continue with a view on CIB, will also encompass Retail Banking, Insurance and Asset Management.
